Deployable side step not deploying

My passenger side deployable side step deploys then goes straight back in or doesn’t deploy at all. Driver side step has no issues, anyone had similar problem? ____________________

Gone: MY2013 3.0 SDV6 HSE Black Edition in Orkney Grey, piano trim, black leather with contrast stitch

Believe it or not... WD40 fixed it!! ____________________
