SVR is a slow-coach

SVR looks like it has a diesel with a snapped crank under the bonnet in this group drag race. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

In non-footballer spec, the Merc has a certain rugged charm. It also knocks the Defender in to the weeds off road.

The Lambo, in that green wrap anyway, looks silly. Very silly.

The SVR was made to look very ordinary in that video. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I really don’t see the attraction of the Merc, never have been a fan

That electric thing is impressive though. Urus in black would look good.

Those Merc G wagons are ugly,,have Merc ever thought about a face lift,,they still look the same as the 70's or 80's version or whenever they first came out.As for the Lambo well the driver says it all,,Drug dealers car.

At least Merc listened to it’s customers who said “don’t change it at the Facelift”. Suzuki have done the same with the new Jimny and will Toyota ever change the Land Cruiser? JLR - oh no they kill of an icon for the sake of something designed by Jerry McGovern and will look like a restyle of the Discovery 3 crossed with a Velar on steroids. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I got the impression the SVR was never ever going to come close. When you look at the specs it should have been a pretty even race except for the Tesla, I wonder how long and far it can drive at that speed? And I suppose technically it’s the slowest as it took an hour to prepare it for ludicrous mode.

That Yani character has/had an SVR, his Lamborghini is ugly as sin. 2012 5.0 SC AB

The one thing going for the SVR is that out of the four vehicles in the group, it was the one that could go anywhere straight out of the box. The Merc has the tools for the job but I think that, in footballer spec at least, it wouldn't get as far as the SVR - if for no other reason than tyres. The other two are just fast road vehicles.

Perhaps they should redo the test in this format:

Whistle Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
