So, the Dealers really DO provide remaps then? Does that mean LR condone and approve the general practice, and, if they recognise the legitimate need for an upgrade, why isn't it fitted standard LRT (extra dosh?)? |

The dealer I am told has been licensed to do this, invoice included the exact details of the upgrade so I am sure that Land Rover are aware of this. |

Not a chance. Picked my TDV8 up two weeks ago. Stunning car and top quality paint job. Had it chipped last friday By Turbo Chip Faster than wifes E class 320 (apart from top speed) Oh did I forget to mention "The sound" |

I take it you like the V8 chipped,has it made much difference to the MPG, whats the HP now some of my Previous cars

I don't know exact figures. Approx 325bhp and 610 ft lbs. The latter is what makes her so good. I posted the "Before and after times on the thread. "T.Chip goes from strength to strength" MPG seems about the same but really to early to tell. |

It doesn't make any difference. Using the car for a few miles lets you know what it feels like unmapped, then the remap shows up more.
