Hey guys, everytime i start my RRS up i get a humming/ vibrating noise coming from where the air suspension compressor sits, goes off after a minute or so. Again when i raise/lower suspension it does the same. Its fine when im driving along. I did notice there is a plastic case that has been cut away so the (I think) AMK compressor is visable.. everything works ie it raises as it should and lowers it just makes that noise everytime.

AMK compressor, bodged Hitachi plastic cover made to fit. Noise is the compressor running I would imagine, mounting bushes may be bit worn causing a slight vibration.

had my mounting bushes replaced by the garage where i bought my car from, almost silent afterwards..!

Col, can I just buy the mounting bushes, and a new plastic case and fit myself? Or do you think I should just get a new compressor? I've seen a AMK style compressor on eBay for £250 comes with the cover and all the bits apparently? Cheers col Updated sat nav
