Engine misfire on tick over RRS 4.2 V8 SC

Can anyone help? A few weeks past, my RRS SC 2006 ruptured a fuel line on the M11! Fortunately the gods were smiling on me that day and after a 9 hour wait the RAC Got me home. Since then me car has developed a misfire! I have had all new plugs and coils fitted and spent an absolute fortune trying to get to the bottom of the issue. Collecting it from the dealer again, the miss fire is now cured when driving but reappears on tick over and if you lift the bonnet there is like a clicking sound as the engine ticks over. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on what the cause of the problem might be as the dealer recognises the sounds as 'its there' but cant seem to trace where it coming from! Big Cry

A lot of these cars have a miss-fire on tick over if you here ticking it may be more electrical i know air leaks are common psv valves also but as i say if you can here it then its more likely to be electrical can you feel it or just here it also has it got a gas conversion as a lot of people say the heads suffer with valve seal/stem issues or could it be a dirty filter Thumbs Up
