Plastic sumps are superior to the metal ones, though harder to replace

Mechatronic sleeve is £9for a new part, just replace the whole thing Thumbs Up

well metal ones tend to leak and don't always have a drain plug.

plastic ones need the front cross member removing to refit. (old one is cut off if new metal one fitted)

Generally the whole sleeve is changed as they are only £10

Have you seen the price of ZF fluid Shocked

Need 6 - 7 litres for a proper change

examples

both contain sleeve

You don't add dr tranny lubegard for fun, so no.

Why are you servicing it?

You also need to work out how to get the 2 litres out the torque convertor.
Various ways.

1) Drain sump, undo oil cooler pipe at front of car (easy). Leave the car parked for a week. Re drain sump and measure what comes out.

2) Drain sump, leave plug out. Run engine for 20 seconds and more fluid should pour out sump
measure what comes out.

3) pump it out the front oil cooler line by running engine for 20 secs. Drain sump for any that is left.

You also need to get the fluid back in!

Gravity thru level plug.
Add 2.5l
Run engine for 20 seconds
Add another 2.5l
Run engine while quickly adding remaining fluid

or

put it in under pressure thru front cooler line with garden sprayer (much easier if you get a good pipe connection to radiator)
