United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HST Alaska White
Cost to supply & install a Differential unit 3.6 RRS

Hi guys, I'm still having problems with the dealer I bought my car from, and now he's saying it cost him £1000 to supply & install a Differential unit (electrical & mechanical) for my 3.6 TDV8 RRS HST, does this sound about right cost wise?
Also said he has supplied & installed front lower wishbone & full wheel alignment at a cost of £600 again does this sound right price wise?
And lastly supply & install front ARC Bar at a cost of £450? without going into to much detail at this stage I don't believe the proof of work done to my car prior to me buying it that I've been sent, just doesn't look right.. any thoughts on the average costs of the jobs listed above please, I need all the help I can get, thanks in advance Wayne. Updated sat nav

Exactly £1,000 for the differential looks a strangely round number - more like a quick estimate than something based on actual part price plus labour.

What kind of tyres did they put on for £75 (plus VAT) each? Current: 2020 P400e HSE Dynamic

I’m not familiar with Victorun tyres but £360 (inc VAT) for 4 is a good price, even for budget tyres. I don’t think they’re ‘padding’ that part of the invoice - always assuming they actually fitted the new tyres.

Tyrefitter may have a view if he sees this thread. Current: 2020 P400e HSE Dynamic

Lower arms supplied with bolts would be £300 from Advanced factors https://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/kit630-m...7241-p.asp so another £300 labour and wheel alignment which could be about right

The front ARC sounds wrong though cheapest I have seen for the bar on its own is £650 and would have thought £1000 supply and fit would have been more like real cost. or where did he get the bar for £450? is it new or recon? TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten
