Air suspension problem !

Hi Guys.

Been having this issue the last few days now but thought no maybe it was just a blip but no it's not it does it all the time now.

My issue is.....
Every time I seem to come to a standstill with the engine running or full EV on the suspension decides to go into the extended off road height Question

And normally when you unbuckle, switch the engine off and get out it should be in Access height but no it's in extended off road height ! Even if I overide it by the switches and put it back down to access height or even normal height it will just go back up again !! Unless I lock it into access height then it holds in position.

I have a few warranty jobs coming up anyway so I will get them to look at this too. Was just wondering if anybody has had this issue and what was the problem. I think maybe ride height sensors ?

But once the vehicle is moving it goes to normal height it's just when you stop it goes a bit mad !!

Cheers.

You could try disconnecting both the batteries and leaving it for 20 or 30 mins. Might clear any system fault you have. Very rarely hear of suspension faults on L494. After you have done that you will have to reset your clock and windows..easy. SDV8 arrived and fantastic even the infotainment!

Hi rangiejools.

Yea that's what I thought the L494 is pretty good with air suspension faults as when you Google it nothing comes up !!

It must be something silly like a ride height sensor or it just needs reprogramming ? As I said I have a few warranty jobs to have done so this will be done then. Only problem is when you stop in traffic or something when the suspension goes up it cause full EV to switch off and the Sdv6 to come back in as it thinks it needs both powers electric and engine as it's going off-road Rolling Eyes

Oh well hopefully it's a easy fix. Will keep you posted how I get on.

Cheers.
