United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Java Black
RR Sport 2.7d refusing to start

Hi everyone, help needed please

My RRSport 2.7d decided to go into limp mode on the m62 about 10 days ago. I managed to get it over to the hard shoulder, turned off and it won’t fire up, waited 10mins and it managed to start but after about 50 yards it turned off and now doesn’t want to start.

Garage is telling me HPP is fine as is sending fuel to engine, Battery/Alternator is ok, the engine is turning over but refuses to come back to life.

The garage by no means is a specialist in these cars but someone I used regularly for bits and pieces in the past.

Error codes: (Note EGRs are blanked)
P2290 - Injector Control Pressure Too Low
P120F - Fuel Pressure Regulator Excessive Variation

The garage reckon it could be the fuel pressure sensor (regulator) but can’t be certain for sure.
