Hi all,

My 3.0 SDV6 is coming to the end of its 3 year warranty - it will continue to have the extended warranty, but ignoring that should there be anything that one should be looking for?

The thread about the deployable side steps paint got me thinking about this - something that you could potentially miss but would get sorted under warranty!

Squeaky brakes - seals around rear diff. Can you ask for a health check at your local dealership I think it's FOC. What warranty are you going to use after your current one expires ? 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Thanks - it's booked in for the first MOT a week before the warranty expires so I'll see if they can do the health check then. I suppose things will get checked at the MOT, as well!

tailgate shuts fine and true (there is an updated set up??)

exhaust butterfly valve clicking (no I didn't know it had one either)

I have found the approved used well worth it's money over many years - just had a rear diff & dodgy airbag harness sorted - approx £1.5k - Sport before had a rear arc bar close to £2k - the one before that suspension parts was replaced. TOP TIP - LR use a red - Amber - green system - if your health check / mot highlights any Amber issues that are covered under warranty make sure you book it back in for a future health check in a few weeks time - failed components do not fix themselves  16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Good to hear the approved used is a decent warranty, PEACHY, I've had similar good experiences with the BMW one in the past.
