Hi all I'm new here & this is my first post. I wonder if any one can help with my problem, and before anyone asks I have been to my Dr and has given me a cream for my other problem 😂.
Iv bought a 2007 sport tdv6 with a transfer box fault meaning the special program does not work. After a plug in check was told that transfer case ECU located behind battery was at fault, so I opened it up and could visibly see it has burnt out so cleaned all connections and replaced with a new one. Still not working but now green light on dash flashing hi also hi and low button flashing with warning saying "transmission range change not available".
So was told the transfer box actuator was seized which I have replaced ! Guess what still have the same message and problem. Iv attached some pics (none of me as I don't want to scare you) 😝 any help would be greatly appreciated xxx

New modules need programming and calibrating before normal operation can be resumed

Have the fault codes been cleared? Have you tried a battery disconnect and reset?

Have you found why the ECU burnt out? Has water got in and caused it to blow? I just wonder what blew it in the first place and could your new one have blown because of the original fault. 2012 5.0 SC AB

I could see water damage so I suspect this was the cause, the new one is till ok have made sure water cant get in. did try the battery reset but to no avail
