Solar attenuating windscreen

I ordered this with my SVR, which after having a month has only had the occasional camera outage glitch and a paintwork issue on the gloss black bar on the front bumper.

My question is did anyone else spec this as usually, they produce a pink\blue tint when viewed externally and mine doesn't have that at all so I'm wondering if it's even been installed?

There's been talk on here of it being a requirement for HUD (which I have) but you can configure HUD w/out solar screen on the website and I've had other cars with HUD and no solar

I have this and thought like you , was it fitted, Then i read that the solar attenuating windscreen has two cut outs each side of the rear view mirror so you can put your motorway pass there (europe)or whatever. As other wise with this screen they may not work.

As jim says as well the codes for this screen are on the glass. SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

I checked the codes online already, although it has Thermal Comfort I didn't know whether this was standard anyway;

What symbols do those who didn't spec Solar have?

Reduce the heat in the car. On the pre face lift it was obvious because of the pinkish tint. Not sure how that's not visible now unless there's a technical update to glass. That's why I wanted to know what symbols were on the glass if solar not specified or if anyone else had solar and a noticeable tint?

I wondered exactly the same when I picked up mine (which went back) earlier this year, was concerned about the absence of cut outs as had my previous Discovery Sport had a very obvious hue to it.

Went back to ask the dealer and they advised it was better tech now so didn't need the hue, my old Discovery Sport was still parked out side so was able to compare the screens and they did have the same icons.

Few pictures below

When I get in the car when the sun has been on it, it’s always really hot, can’t see the point in it to be fair as the glass roof and the side windows will just let the heat in! 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR arrived but now rejected!

For me the benifit was when you were driving into the sun, yes to find my legs felt like they were on fire in my freelander.

Jonathan, interesting your range screen didn't have thermal comfort icon and you ordered solar screen?
Probably not huge benefit but every little helps in this heat! Roof glass not an issue as the blind closed and I'm sure tinted rear glass helps too.

Oops sorry I uploaded the wrong one, that must of been from a car that was also parked up! Mine was the below and I had ordered the heat reflective so seams you can have HUD with either now?
