Replace all 20 nuts with solid, non capped ones.
I put a link up to the ones I fitted a while back.

Yay, that's the attitude. We can talk the next owner through their problems too. Rolling Eyes 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Why the Censored would I spend over £50 on a set of nuts when realistically I only need 4 FFS? Steve.

My indy diagnosed the swollen nuts issue when it was in the other week, only on one wheel. His advice is that its best changing out the lot as the price difference is not significant but where you have some failing others might follow and the originals are renowned for it. So not absolutely required but preventative maintenance, or just trust to luck and just buy for one wheel.

I`m just replacing the Censored locking ones at the moment so I can get the second tyre fitted. I`ve just spent over £300 on 2 tyres which someone else will get the benefit from as i`ll be getting shot soon. If the new owner wants new nuts.....crack on Thumbs Up Steve.

Just my two pennies worth Steve if you wanted to try it yourself.
I had the same issue with the Censored locking nuts , and I like to try everything myself before paying someone else to do it . So I thought what’s the worst that can happen ? I used a long thin chisel and screwdriver to punch a hole through the center of the the spinning nut , you will find it is only thin metal . Using the screwdriver to “peel” the metal open , I then used the chisel to “break” the metal off . Underneath I was surprised to find a hollow nut which you can then loosen off with a normal socket , from memory I think it was 19mm .
I caused no damage to the wheel , and the whole process took me 20 minutes tops .

Hope this helps Thumbs Up
