Next question... ...new wire through bulkhead.

I'm still trying to install the twin fog/driving lights. There is a discontinuity in the wiring somewhere between the wire going into the pax-side fusebox and the fusebox under the bonnet. Plan 'B' is to install a new wire (it is just a wire that goes to ground when the switch is closed).

Even with the upper glovebox removed I can't see the back of the grommet in the bulkhead and I can't get a wire through from the engine side. My usual trick of some think PTFE tube with a stiff wire in it doesn't work.

Any suggestions?! Confused

Help! Big Cry

Err, no. Embarassed

Is that what the picture of a laptop with WDS means in last item of the instructions? I assumed that was something to do with headlamp alignment (getting the car level or similar). Making sure the wiring worked before I cut holes in the bumper seemed a good idea.

Cripes, I didn't think this car was that sophisticated - the nav screen looks like it is based on a ZX Spectrum and it has wiring looms the girth of an anaconda.

Time for a drive to my local indie...

Thank you - that would never, ever, have crossed my mind.

Bow down

Why on earth they decided to put his function through a computer / config option I don't know.

Maybe so the dealer has to be paid! Laughing

The fog light circuit couldn't be any more basic if you tried !
