Hey y’all

I took delivery a couple of weeks ago of a 2018 rrs. Everything was fine until today.

When I put the car in reverse, instead of getting the reverse camera, I got the sensor screen - the one where the car pic has lines around it that change colour the closer you are to hitting something.

I pressed the camera button on the screen to force it to show me the reverse camera screen but nothing happens.
It’s as if that option is disabled/turned off.

Have I somehow actually disabled it accidentally (is that even possible) or is it broken?

Strangely, last year I hired a jaguar xe from sixt at the airport and had the same issue. First day the reverse camera was fine, second day it would not come on.

Mine does this too, 2018 SVR, when I press camera nothing happens, it does this intermittently, sometimes works and sometimes it doesn’t! 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR arrived but now rejected!

It is a real pain and I reported it to LR and sloping shoulders response as usual!

Yes, the answer was that the car had detected an object and the 360 PDC was more important to display than the combined image of 360 PDC, reversing camera and helicopter view!  2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

Happened to mine for the short 2 days I drove it before it went back. Dealer response was "It's software they all do that sir"

I have recently had the Phase 4 update and it looks like this might be fixed!  2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled
