VEBA

Pulling my hair out

DVD works in the headrest but no sound.

Is there a trick?? I’ve set the car to AUX

I’ve got Rosen after markets in mine and it defaults to headphones first, then when you press the mute button it flicks to a transmit frequency (which it shows on the screen) and you tube your radio to that frequency for the sound. Yours could be similar. 2012 5.0 SC AB

I have rossen as well and tune the radio in to the frequency to what it says ob screen if your lucky and it has spme one may have stored the frequency as a station Thumbs Up

No doesn’t work off the headphones . The radio works through then though 2006 RRS Supercharged 4.2 HST muthuaflecka!

No they don't. the radio comes through fine on the headphones but not the DVD 2006 RRS Supercharged 4.2 HST muthuaflecka!

Hi Andy,

i'm not sure if it is accessible but i would check the connection for the output from the DVD / input to the amp it might have come disconnected.

So if they are the ones that come with the screens they will either be spliced in some way to the aux system which you say you have tried and they don't work or they are wireless transmitted over the vhf radio so you need to find the frequency which i think on mine is between 87-88 fm also you may need to try the different AV'S on the unit's Thumbs Up

Sadly the FM search was fruitless! May take it to a specialist as I’m sure it’s a v simple fix 2006 RRS Supercharged 4.2 HST muthuaflecka!

Ring the garage you bought it from and ask for the previous owner's phone number as you would like to speak to them about the dvd setup Thumbs Up
