Coolant leak RRSS 4.2

I had low coolant message today so I had a quick look and there is a slight leak. Looking at the front of the car it's the hose at the bottom left right next to the rad drain plug. There is a plastic panel that has to be removed to access it. I assume this was dissconected when the condenser was replaced as it looks freshly messed with.
I've got some K seal that I was going to chuck in but I'd rather fix it correctly. So, if I remove the hose to clean and reseal the joint will I have any agro with trapped air etc when refilling the cooling system? Is there a specific way to do it?

It isn't the pipe connection.. the metal pipe that is attached to the bottom of the rad and curves around and towards the back has a pin hole in it. I had to remove most of the front of the car just to see it.
Jolly annoying as it had a new ac condenser fitted last month..

I've just been searching for the rad on the web and it seems to be the intercooler rad. I thought intercooler rads had air in them not water.. is the supercharger water cooled then?

yeah supercharged ones are "chargecooled"

Air to water to Air

Think there is a smaller rad right at the front which has coolant in it.

Well. The car is in pieces all over the drive... I've got the rad drained and disconnected but due to the stupid pipes it won't come out of the space..
It looks like all the rads either have to come out or be pushed back someho
Does anybody have any ideas? I desperately need this car for Wed and I've got a new rad arriving tomorrow. If the old one comes out, then a new one must be able to go in..

rads are generally mounted together these days.

And the main/big rad is mounted to the car.

On my Jag this is what I did.... (to give you idea's)

I removed the front bumper.
Took the chargecooler out the front. (it was bolted to the car not the main rad)
I cabled tied the top of the A/C condenser to the slam panel (at either side)
Unbolted the A/C from the main rad. (slid it up and out grooves) And took the main rad out from the engine side.

You have to remember the A/C is full of gas and is in the middle of the sandwich. (so chargecooler would be best to come out the front or upwards)

The RRS is a bit newer design, so things may have changed in fitment

Got it out...

Not easy. It's going to be difficult to get the new one in.

I removed- bumper, headlights, cross beam, plastic front rad cowling, plastic intake, top rad shroud and various other brackets etc.
Then I undid the two bolts holding the main road in place, lifted it up and pushed it back. Then wriggled and twisted and pulled and shoved and cursed until the front rad came out.
It would be so much easier if the front cross member was bolted and not welded on.

It's not going to plan.. I ordered a new rad from Rimmer bros via UPS next day delivery. After waiting all day I got a call from someone several miles away saying they had a box delivered addressed to me.
I went and got it but had a funny feeling before I opened it up and low and behold it was damaged and bent..
So now the wife is off to Warwick in my X5 until Saturday and I'm stuck with no transport until I can figure out if I am going to buy another or see if the original can be repaired somehow..

Update if anyone is interested..
I had the original rad repaired by an expert welder. I also wrapped the offending area with a special marine rubber tape that is designed for hose leaks on vehicles as added security.
I put it all back together and started it up.
The pipe didn't leak but the rubber hose to rad pipe is - which is what I thought it was originally. I've left it and I'll attempt a fix this morning.
Interestingly, when I pulled the bottom hose off not much coolant came out like last time.
What is the specific way to bleed these systems?
I don't want any air locks.

Well I think it's fixed.. just checked the coolant level this morning and it's the same as yesterday- for several days every morning I would have to put in .5 litre of coolant and I was thinking there was still a leak. I even put a sheet of cardboard under it overnight to check.
It was then it dawned on me that I was still replacing the coolant I took out. So that means it's taken 3 days to get it back to normal level..
That's just not cricket is it.
