Just a thought and going back to what was said earlier, I assume the suspension must respond to an obstruction by sensing the drop to access is slowed or restricted. What if corrosion on the struts or suspension is increasing resistance, hence being slow and causing the ECU to think there’s a restriction to select off road height. Maybe all the suspension woes are interlinked, noises, slow and off road height when access selected? 2012 5.0 SC AB

It didn`t try to reach off road. It actually dropped to access height as I wanted but the screen said it was in off road Shocked It went back to normal height but took ages. Haven`t tried off road height...didn`t want to push it!! Steve.

I don't think a battery reset will fix this. Not worth trying.

Yeah as said 2 issues. A leak in the system somewhere (or leak near compressor if new)

Leave it in standard for now.

The display says Off Road is because that is where it wants to get to, but the system it too tired to actually get there.

I tried it earlier with windows open and as it was rising I could hear air now and then so a leak may actually be the issue. Steve.

That’s a pity cause you’ve sorted all its little quirks and problems , and now someone else will benefit .
These cars do test your patience though Whistle

I know mate...I did think that but I just can`t be doing with thinking, what next every time I drive it. I bought my dream car (E46 M3) and only kept it 12 months because of all the constant faults. Time to cut my losses Thumbs Up Steve.

I think I was spoilt with my Focus ST....3 and a half years and nothing broke....I don`t think I even changed pads Laughing

All I spent was what I wanted to, getting it to stage 2. I must admit, I regret selling it Steve.

RS focus won't even last a year without requiring a replacement engine or head gasket.

American design with materials changed.

Just been to my sister's house and parked half on her drive. So I thought get bro in law to sit in the sport and lower and raise it so I can listen for air or something. Worked fine...done....up, in seconds and again!!! Wtf? Steve.
