Powerfold mirrors

I have now got a 2010 s/c mirrors fold ok when pressing the buttons
I have been polishing the car today so doors open quite a lot
When I locked the car with remote the mirrors auto folded
Then I went out on the car and now not auto folding when using the remote
Am I doing something wrong as would like to use the auto feature all the time
