V6 Petrol 3 Litre stopped/discontinued

Hello

Does anyone know why they have stopped the RRS 3 Litre V6 Supercharged Petrol?

Thanks

I think it's rubbish on the new WLTP test and as they don't sell many it wasn't worth their money updating it.

Pity given the move away from diesel at the moment. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB

Thank @SYL

I did have this model on order but given the emphasis on emissions and new laws coming in I’m thinking of cancelling.
Perhaps will look at the hybrid model!

The USA still gets the supercharged V6 petrol. Like the UK we here in Australia don't get the supercharged V6 any more. That leaves the supercharged V8 as the only petrol engined sport. Sorry the 4 cylinder version is not a proper sport and should not be considered an option under any circumstance.

You should read RRSman’s appraisal of the RRS PHEV in the L494 section before you do anything and don’t even think about changing an order to one without having a test drive first as it seems to be a huge let down. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

The 3L supercharged sounds like a sensible compromise.

Try a 300PS petrol in a Jaguar F-Pace. I did and liked it so much I bought one!

I assumed Jag and LR shared engines
