United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

The ebay sellers show the same arms for all versions of L320 RRS. My understanding looking at other sites is that there are differences between the TDV8 versions and others. At least, the TDV8 is usually shown at a slightly different price with a different part number. I would guess that the heavier engine means different bushes - the TDV8 has slightly different wheel alignment settings too, presumably for the same reason. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

It’s a 2009 model.

Thanks for finding the bushes, have told them to do one and found an independent who is quoting on Saturday and has come recommended. £156 an hour down to £50.

Is it worth spending the extra on Land Rover parts?

You could use OE parts which are the same as LR but without the expensive logo / box. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

How old’s the old girl?

Check the policy, I have received quotes twice from warranty direct, the top policy says it does not cover suspension. MY12 RRS HSE
Gone 4.2 supercharged RRS

Gone s2000

Quote for the whole lot has come in at £3k from the independent. They're also going to see if the ARC actually needs changing with their MOT guy for me, fingers crossed they can knock another £1,500 off and just do the bushes.

Felt quite good telling Guy Salmon that they were wrong about the bushes not being replaceable on the rear. How could they price for the front but not the back? Very apologetic, but voted with my feet. Also disconnected my dashcam for some reason which was peculiar.

This one has been a bit of a money pit for me, unsure whether to get the work done and chop it in for a newer shape and go down the warranty route.

garages don't like dash cams in their work shop.

Means you can see exactly what they are up to! or not up to

My nephew works in a MOT station, they have RR's in from local dealer ship for mot's, quite often he says they fail on the arc bar leaking. The cars come back within a hour having been rubbed down cleaned up, and its a pass! (not replaced) if its only a minor leak can it be managed?

Or, some don't like recordings of inside their workshop, with all their expensive tools and equipment on display...

Update from the independent.

Put it through MOT and it passed.

Front bushes on the front bar are fine, no play in them.

Agreed that the front wishbones should be changed.

Rear ARC bar is fine, no leak and the bushes have no play in them either.

Agreed on the pads needing changing.

Livid with what I was told by Guy Salmon and £4k has quickly become c£1,200.
