Yeah some very strange packaging here, the massage seats are now only available with cooled rear seats doesn't make sense to me.

Also very frustrating the steering assist is part of a pack that includes park assist, really not something I am interested in didn't ever user it on my discovery sport so don't really want to pay for it.

Just noticed that full size spare wheel in now £710 and that's for a 21inch

I do really like the facelift but when I configure the same spec as I have on my, MY17 there is a £13k price difference. I know I got a great deal on my current one. They have gone too far!! But we keep buying them Rolling with laughter SVR Carbon Edition in Estoril Blue MY 21.5

Just over 5 grand difference on my order now, which I placed over a week ago. Waiting to hear confirmation that my dealer will honour the price/spec that I ordered. It doesn’t have the Steering Assist but it does have massage for 800 quid not 2,700!!!!

I can’t see how they can honour the price unless you signed an order form?

I have signed an order form and paid the deposit but not got back any official order stuff apart from the Gap insurance gumph.

The issue for me is the standard options list and stuff that might now be removed. The order form doesn’t list them. It has all the extras at the original prices.

Dealer says he’s call me when they have all the paperwork to “run through it all” - not sure what that means at this point!

Cool

I have just spec'd my car up as per my MY18 and it's gone up by £3647!!!!! Bloody insane - I got my 22'' wheel for £270 it's now nearly £810 Laughing

I am talking like for like nothing new for the MY19 has been added to the spec of my MY18

The fancy steering cruise control is only available as part of the Driver Assistance Pack at £3300

Massage seats were £800 and are now £2640 Big Cry

Painful!

Blimey, at that price I'd want a massage with a happy ending ...

Im not sure whether my car is MY18 or MY19 now.

It should apparently be coming as an MY18 car.

Should I take it or wait for an MY19.

The gearbox is changed for emissions so don't really care about that.

Do I really want to wait another 3/4 months for keeping the car in the middle of the lane and moving off on its own instead of a tap of the accelerator.

Thoughts please?

I'm guessing because the changes are so small between 18/19 there will be no massive price change between MY years on the 18/19 scale like 17/18 for example.

Have you priced up a like for like MY19 car to MY18? Im sure it will be around £4k dearer! Pointless IMHO as the new steering gizmo is not standard anyway its part of the drive pro pack at over £3500!

Yeah I guess so.

So you'd just take the possibly incoming MY18 car and forget about the MY19?

I'm just stuck on the fact that my car is probably one or two weeks away from being an MY19.

If you want to wait for the 58 reg then yes wait but on the basis of MY18 vs MY19 what are you gaining? If anything you are getting a gearbox that makes your car slower and the same 0-60 as the 3.0d engine in the MY19!! Rolling with laughter

Suggest you do whatever you can to keep it a MY18. From what I can see the MY19 changes are minor at best, negative at worst, I have been advised the 0-60 time is correct and it’s been remapped to meet the new emissions tests, rather annoyed to be honest...

Also don’t forget the steering assist is ONLY available as part of a £3k+ option pack.

When I eventually get mine would be interested to compare a SDV8 MY18 and MY19 plus SDV6 MY18. Any chance you are Interested?

Yeah deffo up for it!

Just need to figure out what to do about this MY18 or MY19 car thats probably coming.

I guess you're right it makes sense to keep things as is, but if the order were to be delayed then I'm guessing it would come with the driving assistance bits anyway as they were on the car in a similar pack unless they've renamed it so there won't be any price difference that I can think of.

I need to figure out if it is definitively coming as an MY18 or an MY19.

The driver assistance pack was never standard (used to have blind spot assist, 360 camera, Lane keep assist and Park assist) it was cheaper (not sure how much it was but certainly not £3300 they want now). Did you actually order that with your car? Even if you did they won't honour the old price and will want you to cough up the additional moolah for the MY19.

Great, would be an interesting exercise! Next question where in the country are you based?

Have you asked your retailer for a copy of the vista order form? That's the best way to find out the score, it will tell you which MY has been ordered. I have been advised (may be wrong) that any MY18 that were not build slotted and in the holding pool had to be re ordered as MY19s so it should be quite clear cut.

As RRSman says the pack is a new one and not the same as any prevsiolsy visable pack I can see (MY18 configurator is still live on the links earlier in the post) so even if you did wait would have to pay the extra to add it on.
