19” wheels on RRS Supercharged

Greetings All - this is my first post.

I know there are a number of posts on this topic in general but I could not find anything definitive including part numbers for what will work on the supercharged model with the big red Brembo calipers as on my 2023 L320 5.0.

So here’s my thinking that I would like a sanity check on.

1) It can be done as the spare is a 19” 8J
2) The part number is LR016305
3) Other part numbers for this wheel are RRC002900MNH; RRC002900MNL and RRC002900XXX.
4) It was used on other Disco models
5) It looks like this:

6) Even though it is an 8J rim it will take a 255 tyre
7) I will still be required to fit a Y rated tyre as per the original 20” wheel for insurance.

Any comments will be gratefully received!

Many thanks,

John

I don’t think those will take a 6 pot brembo Question better off posting on Disco 3 to ask the question as they are a Disco 3 wheel Thumbs Up 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

This one definitely 100% fits over 4 pot Brembos

I think his 2013 L320 Supercharged would have 6 pot Brembos Thumbs Up 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

Thanks Gents,

Why go so small? To make it a little more wife proof. I like the polished 20” wheels but can’t keep pace with the curbing, even with an extra wheel to cycle the repairs! I have considered two options and different wheels appear to be more acceptable than the other ....

I believe I have the 6 pot Brembos but as this 19” wheel type is used as the original spare, I assume that LR would not supply one that didn’t fit. Though to be honest I haven’t tried fitting the spare yet. Thought I’d check the concept before getting hands dirty in the rain!

Assuming it does fit and I can find some at an OK price, are there other complications I haven’t considered?

Thanks,

John
