Anyone have any idea why i keep getting black run stains?cleaned under bonnet alone sill etc still get these marks

Although my paintwork is black, not white like yours, that pattern of staining looks familiar. Did you clean around the bonnet seal using something like an engine de- greaser? After I did that, a similar pattern of vertical marks used to appear.

Not quite so obvious on black but definitely the same pattern.

Presumably some of the degreaser ran down the wing (even though I was careful) and spoilt the wax protecting the paint. The only cure was to completely repeat the detailing process on the wings; i.e. decontaminate, clay bar, tar remover, polish, IPA, pre-wax cleaner then wax or sealant. Top up with quick detailer after every wash. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Thanks for reply mate,i havent touch it with any degreaser in engine bay sprayed it with a quick detailer just to check it came off ok looks like iv some spring cleaning lined up lol

I get them all the time on mine but don't notice them as much on my black one as I did when I had the white one.
