Help brembo calipers/alloys

Hi guys

Need some help please, got some new wheels for my rrs tdv8 2007 with brembo calipers on front
& new wheels are very close to calipers almost scraping
New alloys are 22"x10.5j et 38
What size spacer would be best to clear calipers 3-5mm ?
Thanks

I have 22`s with Brembos with no issues. Shouldn`t need spacers. Steve.

6pot brembo upgrade recently done (calipers/disks a L494 take-off) to 2010 TDV8 running standard 20s with no issues whatsoever. with brakes/feel considerably more responsive than standard.

3mm clearance will be enough and as a rule of thumb run with the minimum thickness spacer you can get away with..... Thumbs Up 2010 RR 5.0 Autobiography

Just to update tried 5mm spacers, new wheels cleared oem 4 pot brembos perfectly
but then the new tapered wheel nuts will only tighten 3-4 threads
so what do i do now ?

try 2/3mm spacers or wheel adaptors ?
new wheels are 22x10.5j et 38 all round

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver

This may not help directly but I had real probs with the 19 inch winter wheels I bought for my TDV8. In the end I had to sell them. Did contemplate spacers but was worried about risk of an issue with my insurers. The offset is a key figure in wheel purchase and it became a minefield for me.

Have a read here for more info on my debacle if you feel inclined.

Your next step is to purchase a set of extended wheel nuts and that will solve that particular problem. But as Easter pointed out you have the wrong offset wheel and this will be the only way to correct the problem if you want to keep the rims. 2010 RR 5.0 Autobiography

Have a look eBay for longer wheel nuts, or better still Advance Factor, they are site sponsors. As far as offset, any rim off a 494 should fit as they all run with 6 pot Brembo callipers. Supercharged RRS 1 also ran with 6 pots. Thumbs Up 2010 RR 5.0 Autobiography

spoke to the company who supplied the new wheels, was told if i want these wheels to fit
they can recess the bolt holes
further down as there is enough metal to make alteration
which should fix the problem.

i will still have to use 5mm spacers to clear brembo calipers
but once they recess the holes, i will be able to tighten wheel nuts to spec
so will this option be safe guys ?
as i really like the wheels & want to keep them

For the price of a set of wheels nuts I think I would go with that option. I’m not sure I fancy wheel milling option over a new set of nuts. πŸ‘πŸ» 2010 RR 5.0 Autobiography

Be worth checking what load capacity the wheels have too. Many aftermarket wheels aren't really designed for the weight of a RRS. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
