Any managed to get the service pack as previous models
Dealer said it's not available as yet so just checking

Hi Denny,

It is definitely available. I took it out for my MY18 which I took delivery of on 1 March. Same as the previous service packs available - 5 years.

Yes sure. £925 plus VAT.

My car is an SVR and I am not sure if the cost is the same across the range.

Service Pack

Collecting my car next Wednesday its an HSE Dynamic Diesel
Spoke to my dealer again and his response is as follows

Hi Dennis



Thank you for your email.



I will verify receipt of your payment tomorrow.



With regard to the service plan, all dealers use the same system to set up the National Service Plans called EMAC. With all service plans, we have to wait until after the car is registered before we set up any service plan (sometimes this can be up to 3-4 weeks).



What I can do, is attempt to set up the Service plan after you take delivery of your new car. If the system allows me to set up the Service Plan, I can then contact you for payment and set up the plan.



I hope this is ok?

Although with my 16 and 17 cars I set it up before delivery
Anyone else had problems before delivey

That is rubbish from your dealer! Mine was included as part of my vehicle purchase invoice and paid for as part of the payment for my car.

Never heard such Censored ... Censored It was added to my invoice and i never even wanted it. SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

I had similar experience
Took my cash for service pack on day of paying the balance for the sport
Then was told or had to wait a few weeks for paperwork and cert to arrive
Which I had to chase for

Mine was on the invoice when I paid for the car and they told me exactly how much it would be when I was negotiating the total price in the first place, RRS MY17 SDV6 AB

Have just had an interesting chat with EMaC who operate/manage the Service Plan on behalf of JLR.

My supplying dealer had confirmed they had registered my MY18 Sport for the 5 Year Plan. However on checking with my local servicing dealer they advised that the Plan had been subsequently been CANCELLED....

EMaC have told me that my Plan had been cancelled by JLR because JLR have not yet confirmed their pricing policy for Service Plans on 2018MY cars.....

Apparently my dealer had tried to set the plan up as if my car was a MY17 - so even though the engines etc are the same the MY18 Plan is NOT yet available!!

PS for those of you that think you do have a Service Plan for your MY18 Sport it may be worth asking your dealer to check the status of your Plan with EMaC....

Alternatively you could call EMaC directly on 0330 099 6826 - you should only need your name/address and Reg No.

well so my dealer was correct my confidence in them now back to 100% as l am collecting my car tomorrow so thanks for the correct info
