Adaptive Cruise Control

I recently bought a 2008 RRS and I love it.

I have a problem with the cruise control and I am hoping someone can point me to a repairer in my area.

Sometimes the cruise would not turn on but if i turned ignition off then on it would. but not always, it now seems to work very infrequently.

I understand this is a common problem.

I am in Essex, can anyone help p[ease

I was getting the same, seems to happen when the battery is low. Fully charged the battery and it went away. Otherwise something is blocking the sensor at the front.

If that doesn't work I have a IID tool in Essex I could run a fault test for you and see if anything comes up.

Gerd1986...I think you need a separate license for a second car..£25 iirc. I was offered this a while back by a couple of members. Steve.

My mistake I thought you could still read the faults. Well it's open if you want to pay £25.

You can read faults only without the licence fee but unless that fault brings on the lights as don't think the wires in the air bag bring on any warnings Thumbs Up
