Guys, don't forget to pack the RRSport brollies, green wellies, Barbour Jackets, flat hats and wear your cotton twill check shirts. And don't forget to switch on the fridge in the centre cubby to keep the Champers cool ready for your butler to serve your best friends.

Nick any petrol/diesel head will enjoy the Gaydon Centre, it is the full history of the UK car industry. There are some interesting stands at the Landy shows as well. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Am sure the others will post later - but I just got back - wasn't bad but not great either....trade stands were very poor....but we enjoyed all the old landies.....we got there at about 10 and stayed til 1ish.......there were 5 of us, and we had a laugh and saw lots of cars - but the others said it was slightly disappointing

The LRE Show at Billing or where-ever they are holding it this year is the one to go to. Most of the Landy owning world seems to go to that one and it is usually on August Bank Holiday Weekend. It even has offroad courses that are graded, easy to very difficult, that you can take your own Landy on. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Twas not too bad, albeit the entire event was populated with hippocrocopigs......jees Rolling Eyes Whistle Not one decent skirt......it was like a trip to Royston Vasey. Whistle

Why is it that these events attract such weirdos, it really feels sometimes that your are walking amongst circus acts (attended company excluded - well, maybe not Nick Whistle Whistle ) It is quite scary.

TBH, it was a pitiful event considering it is LR's 60th, very, very P**s poor. Even the show vehicles lookded like they had been thrown together by the Friday half day brigade!!! Shocked There was a FFRR on display that looked as if it had been thrown together by Stevie Wonder, the filling flap was a disgrace. Evil or Very Mad Considering the poor attendance, LR may have got away with it.........otherwise, all pretty embarassing really, apart from the bargain jackets......that's another story! L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

I'd agree, I thought it was not as good as it should have bene considering the importance of the event.

I was in the cavalcade of vehicles, and there should have been at least 7 FFRR's, instead there were only 3 of us, there was only one Disco 3 too. Where was everyone?

|The trade stands were rubbish, like an ex army surplus show gone bad, and there WERE loads of weirdos and people who needed a damn good haircut. Why do blokes think mullets and pony tails still work??

What did make me smile was when I got back to my car at the end, some funny monkey had slipped a RRSPORT.CO.UK flyer under the wiper blade, so come on, own up, who was it? Thumbs Up L319 D4 HSE

ha ha......we didn't want to intrude on your sandwiches....but rest assured we had a good look inside and outside your lovely car.....and we are right behind you on the type of person there. Although, Misery and Jay did think there were some good looking women there - these are the pony tail variety you are referring to!! Very Happy
