2009 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Parking Brake Fault?

Hi All,

Now my parking brake won't release unless I put my foot on the brake? It tells me to do this on the dash board with a message! Any idea what might be wrong?

Any help appreciated.

That's normal behaviour. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Hi RRSTDV8 & Andy K Sorry guys I have now read the Handbook and you are right, my only problem is I have owned this RRS for several years now and this message has only just started to come up?

The Parking Brake works perfect except it comes up with a message at the start of all journeys saying "Parking Brake Fault" I don't see this message again until the next journey!

Yes it releases when I drive off without pushing the lever down.
