United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Drls

Hi guys
I was thinking of adding some drls to my range rover sport 2.7td 2005 not the halo type that go into the light unit but other type that fit to bumper
Can anyone suggest any particular kit for this and if you've fitted themselves how do they look and is installation easy ? Cheers

Those DRL units will use a voltage sensing relay to turn on the lamps, so the only connections will be to the +ve and -ve terminals of the battery.

Issues:
1) The lamps will turn on when a charger is connected to the battery.
2) The brackets are likely to rust.
3) The seal between the lens and the housing are likely to leak water. Even genuine Philips units have this problem, I have had 3 Philips units which have done this.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Atacama Sand

Easy fix, wire them to an ignition live terminal in the under bonnet fuse box

England

Its easier than you think to fit halos, opening headlights isn't too bad.
Did both of mine in under 2 hours start to finish
