Use both but more time and space for braking will always be better as 2.5 toms is quite hard to stop on snow |

Just remember that the special programs are meant to get you going and keep you moving............ they don’t have any effect on stopping distance although HDC can help by stopping wheels from locking up with out you needing to use the foot brake. Also if you get into deep snow and find you need to try using the tyre sidewalls to help get grip by turning the steering a lot then you also need to disable the DSC until you get going again when you should reset it to the default on position. 2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV on order for April delivery, bye bye Land Rover after 21 years and 11 LR products..... all because you won’t give me reassurance that should my SDv6 crankshaft break because of a design fault, not MY fault, but the engine builders fault - it will be replaced for free.
