Hoping someone would be able to help me, my wife has lost her set of keys. I have an IIDTool so I can program another set, however my issue is that I cant remove the lost keys from the vehicle also upon using the IIDTool I have found out there is actually a 3rd set of keys programmed to the car.

I phoned around and it seems as though you cannot remove keys once they have been added and a key key module is needed rather than being able to remove sets. This can't be right can it?

Has anyone else managed to remove a set of keys from a 2012 Sports?

i thought when reprogramming a key, all sets had to be there, those that are not won't work

something like that i was told when i dealer replaced a key for me, as i had to take all my keys with me

Unfortunately not, I just tried and it states that the current keys will not be altered.

the current spare key is re-programmed to the new codes whenever a new key is added. the new key is not added to the existing codes. its the other way round, the old keys are added to the new code 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater )))
