Can anyone identify this cable?

Does any knowledgeable folk know what this is? Cable circled in white.

And in the second picture, the rubber cable sleeve is pressing against the rubber boot seal, presumably due to the angle and positioning of a wire inside. Looks like some tape has been applied to it, so not sure if I should expect some problems from this in the future?

Thanks!

I had the same issue and was concerned it might either damage a cable or compromise the weather sealing; I had it rectified under warranty without issue or resistance from the dealer.

From the second photo, it seems like you already have the fix to prevent the cable catching the seal but has failed to work. Mine had the problem and it was fixed under warranty by simple plastic clip to keep the cable away (which is visible on the photo).
