I see in What Car?magazine that Carfile is offering 6% discount in an RRS PHEV. I’ve just been onto my dealer about my order - build was approved yesterday for 20th May production run, delivery by 23rd June, but it isn't An RRS PHEV 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Ordered a 2017MY Mini Countryman PHEV back in early November........... due to BMW’s c**k up wiping their orders database doing an upgrade (they must have been learning from Land Rover’s iT Guys!) I’m getting a 2018MY with the price held at 2017 contract and because the new price is over £40k (£1300 price rise in February) BMW are also payingthe Luxury Car Tax and the extra tax as retesting of the emissions for 2018 has also raised the tax band up a group.......so they are also paying that. So I’m getting the 2018MY with the cool Union Jack LED taillights........ and as the option packs changed as well i’m Getting a load of free options that were in different packs when I ordered in November so I get the bits I ordered originally. Don’t know what influence the dealer has over BMW / Mini UK but i’m Happy despite the build date having fallen back 2 months as a result. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

If it wasn’t now too late I would also have changed my ordered colour of Melting Silver ( sort of grey green metallic) with black pano and contrast roof to either the new Stellar Blue (Somewhere between Estoril and Velocity Blues in LR terms), with a white contrast roof or the lovely rich new metallic Solar Orange with a black roof. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
