Finland 2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Rimini Red
Trading in the motor for a newer model

I have had a 2006 TDV6 Sport for the past year and a half. It's currently got 167 000 km's on it.
In the 18 months i've had it it's had a sun roof drainage pipe replaced, a fuel leak fixed, the GPS unit replaced (which is now leaking a little - more silicone sealant needed).

Over the past couple of weeks the wife and i have test driven a fair few cars [Lexus RC300h, Alfa Romeo Giulia, Jaguar XE E-Performance R Sport, Golf GTE, Mini Cooper S & Cooper Hybrid, Lexus IS 200h, Disco Sport]
She traded in her Merc E350 Coupé for the Jag R Sport.
And now last night she tells me i should probably trade in my car for a newer one. Very Happy

The only option is a RRS. My budget isn't huge and it being Finland cars are insanely expensive. On the radar are 2010 / 11 Sports.
Is there a massive difference in the drive and comforts from a 06 to a 10/11??
I had a Disco Sport 2017 for 4 days last weekend and it wasn't to impressive. Actually felt so pleasing to climb back into the sport..

all advice appreciated.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

we did exactly the same, had a 2006 sc for 7 years, tried all sorts of cars but then just bought a newer version. Initially i hated it after the sc, not having the diesel before, i didnt realise it was underpowered due to been clogged up. sorted that out and i love it. The newer model dash is so much more pleasing and going from the 0ld v6 you will probably knotice the extra power. If you can streatch to the 2012 256bhp and the 8 speed you will knotice considerable difference in refinement, central dial and power tail lift (unfortunately it is not split) MY12 RRS HSE

Finland 2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Rimini Red

thanks for the info.
I'm now torn. Buying a 2010 model in Finland with 140 000km will cost me 39 thousand euros. The same car bought in the UK will cost me only 18 thousand euros. But bringing it back to Finland will incur silly import duties and taxes.
So do i try and register the car at my parents place. Drive it back here and just visit the UK with the car twice a year. But i presume that would mean it needs insurance in the UK. and i haven't had car insurance in the UK for 21 years. So doubt i have any NCB.

But buying from the UK would allow me t up the budget and go for a " 2012 256bhp and the 8 speed"
