Sorry to read your car has been stolen, utter bastards!
Don’t accept the first offer the insurers make to you. Gather evidence of similar cars for sale, with similar mileage from Autotrader etc and present it to them with a figure you think is acceptable. They will hopefully meet you somewhere in the middle, somewhere between a trade price and private sale price will hopefully be their best offer and is what I’d aim for.

Obviously very sorry to hear this.
When you get your next RRS get a decent tracker Cat 5 fitted, these will pick up movement, tow, lifting, driving away etc with direct link to police patrols. It also works even if underground, in a container etc.
There is threads on here about best/recommended for our cars. The LR system on new models is only CAT 6 and doesn’t give you such good protection.
Also read about keeping your fob in a container to stop it being cloned when indoors. John

I had always thought it was only newer models that were targeted but as has been said - the earlier models have a value for parts. Land Rover are of course adding to the problem by constantly ramping up the price of of parts way beyond any reasonable level.
