I'm not even waiting for the call now. I'll be back from the business trip and will take my car from there whatever the state and will do my absolute best and make sure my experiences is well known across all major Land Rover forums. Natasha absolutely disgusts me. Vadim A.

I called today again. Natasha was not in... Someone else took the call and of course he promised to call me back. I refused to get off the line again and asked to speak to the Manager - Paul. I was put on hold for 10 min, then asked again if Paul could call me back which I understandably refused as well. So they put me on hold again, make me wait for another 20 min and then hang up. Tried calling back right away and they never pick up the phone.

Here is a quick photo of how long I've haven waiting on the line to find out whats going on with my car which has been there for 4 weeks.

36 mins long to get an update from any person willing to do so at Lookers Park Royal - they couldn't find anyone up to the task.

Just go in person and collect the car.

Send the link for this thread to the managing director of the group and leave an honest review on google.


I just bumped into a salesman’s from my local dealer (battersea- the sales guys are completely useless) and he asked how my Svr was etc, and why we hadn’t been into see him for my missus velar , I told him straight , because you’re a shower of sh*t. My missus who usually doesn’t say boo to a goose even piped up and tore a strip off of him, poor bloke just stopped for fuel .

I won’t spend a penny of my money with them.

If enough people vote with their feet business have to listen.

Ive reported the dealership to LR Customer Service at their HQ and they've opened the case to investigate. To my surmise, or not, before opening the case they contacted Lookers Park Royal to find out whats going on with the car and were told there was no one to speak to them... If HQ calls in to find out whats going on and doesn't get an answer - it does sound serious. Vadim A.

I’ve not used lookers myself but your experience unfortunately is no surprise. It’s not just main dealers who give poor experiences/customer service. I refuse to use main dealers now if I can help it. I’ve also been screwed by specialists in the past. I think I’ve found a good one though just outside of London. Just had a major service carried out including belts, brakes and bushes. The service was honest, the customer service was great and the price ok. Thank god for review sites online. The google review score for lookers is terrible!

Vadim,, sorry to hear about your issues,, just to add to the mix, you say you got excellent service from he dealership prior to it becoming a "lookers" centre. I have dealt with a Nissan dealership with my wife's car for 7 years now, never a problem,, it is now lookers Nissan rather than Nissan Newcastle, last week I tried to call to book the annual service and most,,, 3 separate calls to get someone who would actually take some details and arrange something. I also experienced the" I'll get someone in the dept to call back"which never happened and having on the phone for an age.

Their whole setup has changed and previously I never had cause for concern,, do you think it's the lookers influence that is causing all this trouble rather than the poor dealerships they are taking over?? 2010 RRS, TDV8

Really sorry to hear this and hope you get this resolved quickly.

Only thing I would add is that Lookers Battersea are just as bad. I bought my 2014 MY 5.0L Autobiography from them and they also serviced it. The whole experience from order, updates, delivery and service was absolutely appalling. I have been left bewildered as to how they get away with such shocking service!

They get away with ( and it isn’t just lookers but all the other big chains of dealerships) because JLR/Tata don’t give a fCensored - they only build the cars and once the dealers have purchased their quotas JLR wash their hands of any further connections to the car, they are only concerned with sales numbers these days. I am very lucky where I live that the local dealership is a family run concern with only one JLR franchise, they have to give good service to customers or they go out of business, it is such a shame that they don’t seem to get much support from the actual maker of the cars that they sell.
I have purchased my last 5 cars from the sales team at Lookers West London (aka LPR) but I don’t have to take them back there for servicing, I have always been well looked after by the sales team but now I think even they are struggling to sell JLR’s poorly made and overpriced cars. 2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - a test car before Seeing if I could go to totally Petrol/Diesel free motoring
