Brake Light Switch...

Hi,

Is it wise to buy a genuine land rover brake light switch (Cost £27) or are the aftermarket ones ok to use (cost around £11).

What have any of you guys opted for? Didn't know if it one of those parts where you should always use genuine or not.

Any recommendations where to purchase from?

cheers

For me, Genuine especially as the price difference is negligible and you get a 2 year parts warranty.

I may be mistaken, but my understanding is that not only do they guarantee the part, LR will also pay labour to replace a defective part within the 2yrs. Bit of a no brainer really, especially as the price difference is only a few quid.
