Have you found that other feature yet that allows you to display a mirror image on your tablet/phone? So the you lay the tablet on the dash, it is reflected in the windscreen and voila... it's a head-up display.

It's an option in the Torque app.
Or at least it was when I last used it. Can be fun to mess around with the little OBD dongles and Torque but it is no substitute for a proper tool like the IID if you have any serious issues with your RRS. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

I know what you mean. The main purpose of buying is I have some errors that the indy dealer is dealing with under warranty and I just wanted to read error codes so I could keep abreast of what's going on. Not 100% trust in them.. I'm very techie but no mechanic by any stretch..

Not land rover software, but torque has a fault finding section which scans the ecu and throws up fault codes, there is also an option to see fault on web and it directs you to a webpage explaining the fault code. obviously this isnt a full professional diag tool, but great for the likes of me who just want to monitor and clear simple fault codes without visiting the dealer.
