Protective Gear For Range Rover Sports

So, just looking to see who might be interested in some off-road protection for their Sport if we could find someone to produce in the UK...

If Other, list here and I'll add to the Poll

I would guess that if enough interest, then we might approach someone to produce as part of a gb.

Poll doesn't allow multiple selections. We would need front plate, sliders (w or w/o steps) and compressor plate it seems to me. Transfer box and rear diff too is you're looking for serious protection.

Front plate and compressor guard would be relatively simple fold and weld affairs for most metal working companies.

Sliders are more complicated because of the way door wraps down around the cill. Any slider/step/stand off rail will be forced to sit below the body unit cill and thus reduce ground clearance here compared to the Disco. Not impossible to live with but it is something that is unavoidable. The slider would be no lower than the chassis rail so overall it's not a game-ender. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

ProSpeed would be interested, thought I'd ask them first before putting a poll up. They would need a "donor car" to map and then would be able to produce items based on those measurements/mappings. I'm guessing then that if there was enough of a demand, then we could look to get everything at a more advantageous price as a bulk order.

Cills and the plastic moulded bits at the bottom of the doors were the things that took the most pounding on my recent off-road adventure.

Sorry, I can't edit the poll - perhaps some kind mod might? Smile
