SE, HSE - R Dynamic maybe?

After 2500 miles in my First Edition Velar and 3 months of owner ship I am please to say JLR have finally solved the infotainment issues - the new screens work like a treat. No lag, no hanging and super responsive!

Thank you for that information. I have to decide myself if it´s worth to wait for the facelift.

LR is hiding this ´18 facelift amazingly successfully.

I don't think they are hiding it as such it's just that It's not ready yet! I guess they want to upgrade the FFRR before this or maybe do them both at the same time but if they do the RRS before the FFRR I guess that won't bode to well for their flagship model.

I was told the updates would appear this year but now it seems to be March 2018 - guess we will never know until it actually is announced.

HSE model name currently is deceptive anyway, given it means Higher or High Spec Edition when it is the most basic model in the UK at least. Unless JLR have secretly changed what it stands for. It made sense when the lineup started from S or SE. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
Gone: MY16 RRS2 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic, Carpathian Grey & Santorini Black Sliding Pano/Ebony & Ivory 2 Tone
Gone: MY13 RRS 3.0 SDV6 HSE Black Edition, Orkney Grey/Ivory
Gone: MY09 RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE, Santorini Black/Almond

Hi all,
I ordered an SVR in July, I have been told it is in the holding pool... does that mean it will be the MY18 as I have told the dealer that's what I would like ? Any thoughts ?
Still undecided on colour, provisionally gone for Miribel White, black roof and wheels .. has anyone seen this colour and any feedback ?

Thanks

I dont think anyone here could answer this as no one knows! Apparently production for the MY17 has stopped but usually September brings the MY17.5 and the MY18 comes in March.

I see the configurator is updated now for MY18.

I was expecting to be a disappointed that my MY17 feels outdated but got to be honest I much prefer the MY17 interior, not a fan of the new colour schemes and patterns on the seats.

May consider an SVR in a year or 2 but am content with my current model now.

I'm really unsure about the new SVR styling, think I'll be sticking with mine for a while
