United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Java Black
Fuel treatment help

Hi. This is my first proper post since joining this forum. I recently picked up a 2.7 2009 sport and I love it. It’s just had a full service along with all timing belts, new brakes and new bushes. I’m pleased with how it’s driving. Anyway I’ve got a bottle of forte specialist injector cleaner and a bottle of forte turbo cleaner to run through. Does anyone know if these can be used together? Or do I need to use one in one tank full then use the next? I’ve searched the web but couldn’t find any good answers. Thanks

No experience on here then I guess. I’ve emailed Forté directly to try and find out.

Why not run one through at a time? That way you'll know which one made an improvement (if there is any).
Experience suggests cleaning the MAP sensor, some injector cleaner and running on Shell VMax diesel plus most importantly a good long 300 mile motorway blast tends to clean out any accumulated crud from too many school runs. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Forte responded to me. I contacted their technical support group. They actually recommend using both products at the same time. Just posting for anyone who has the same question in future.

As for why I want to do it at the same time..... Well if I only do about 200 miles per month then it's going to take me a long time to use both products if I used them in 1 tank after another. This way I can use both products in a single tank and have a cleaner fuel system and turbo.
