Poor radio reception after fitting Pioneer SPH-DA120

Hi

My radio reception was perfect with the original head unit fitted but now I have fitted the pioneer unit I have poor reception, when I first fitted the head unit I used a 12v Fakra to DIN antenna adapter ( connected to the blue and white wire from Pioneer headunit) and then a standard Fakra to DIN antenna adapter, the adapter without the 12v feed seems better but reception is still poor, I used the in car Tec fitting kit to convert the wiring https://incartec.co.uk/Pages/Product.aspx?P=4872
I have also included pictures of both adapters used

any help would be great

Thanks
