RE the front end, it defo looks very SVR - the LED headlights look very aggressive too.


Black was a massive punt, but I just couldn't see a Range Rover in any other colour other than drug dealer black! haha. I'm a hobbyist detailer (used to do it for a living back in Uni days) so I wont have an issue with the swirls.. they will be there from the factory no doubt but maintenance wise once I get rid of them this weekend it should be a breeze to clean after some good protection.

I plan on getting the callipers painted the same as those on my C63:

My car will have been with LR a week tommorow.

My salesman (who is utterly useless) told me on Monday he will call me everyday with updates. He hasn’t and he’s failed to return one of my five calls today. Shambles.

Coincidently, my sister is friends with an apprentice in the LR workshop at the very dealer my car is at. He has told me (wether this is public knowledge or not) that a lot of new cars with motorised screens that tilt 30 degrees (I assume anything with the incontrol duo screens) have issues where the screen either randomly flips out or refuses to tuck back into the dash again. This isn’t apparent until the pdi, when they ‘wake’ up the ECU. LR are aware of it and have or will issue a recall on these cars with a software update this week to solve the issue.

I literally feel like going to the dealership and flipping my lid. I appreciate problems arise but I haven’t been officially informed at all and the fact it’s been a week, any longer and I may have waited for it to be registered in March, they’ve already registered it now.

Anyone else heard or can confirm the above?

What a nitemare,why is it that jlr & there dealers are so crap, I’m just about to loose it with my dealer over poor customer service ,I am starting to think they really don’t give a sh##!!

They don’t give a ,,once you drive out of the showroom they have their commission & that’s all they are bothered about.

This really is poor, i mean in rox,s case at least the bloody dealer could keep him informed ffs!  SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

Phoned the dealer (Again) today and have been told my car will be sorted either by or on the weekend, either way it will be ready for collection early next week.

They were probably more interested in registering it late in December to make their end of year bonuses.......... especially if it has been a slow year or month or quarter for sales. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
