Suspension air release

2006 2.7 range rover sport se.

Every now and again im hearing an air pressure release from the rear suspension.
Iv noticed that the back left corner sits slightly lower.
The compressor was recently replaced by the previous owners.
The car feels boaty on the road on bumps and jerks as if the sherls have lost road contact.
What would the gentlemen of the board recommend?
Cheers

Welcome! I would recommend that DCC actually spent some money on the roads - they're shocking (& I'm not talking about the washed away ones up in Inishowen, can't pin that one on them).

These cars do let off air sometimes though, particularly when you've just parked up and got out the car after a journey. There's quite a bit on droopy corners in search.

your dead right! the roads are pure barry white up here. Im wondering is one corner being lower upsetting the whole geometry of the car.
I wonder if the air springs are all ok is it possible to just change the shocks.

You can change the dampers but it's not really economical to do so. The whole strut isn't much more expensive than just the damper and then there's the time to disassemble it etc.

The noise coming from the rear corner could just be the air being released from the system. There is an exhaust in the system in the rear left corner. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
