lack of power when driving, now limps :( pls help

Hi all, again
recently on driving home from work, I put my foot down to drive up a slight hill and nothing happened, so I really put it down and the revs roared and off I went
kept getting the same so booked it into my garage (if it were a person it would have nodded off if you see what I mean!)
however, before I got to the garage date, it went into limp mode from starting, I would really have to rev it to get it to move, which I did to get it to the garage and there it has remained - thankfully I have another car to drive
having plugged it in, there appear to be no codes relating to this problem, only one for my duff parking sensors, so we're a bit stuck - have checked all pipes to the turbo (which was fitted about 6 months ago) and they seem ok, and the egr valves were fitted at the end of 2016
if anyone can offer me some help / advise I would be most grateful as ever
kind regards all

Is this with a LR Service Centre as many independent garages have the wrong equipment to get the correct fault codes etc. on our vehicles.
Some code readers come up with codes that are not meaningful to LR cars.
I'm surprised you have no codes at all stored though. John

Really need to look at live values if there's no fault codes.

Sound like EGRs but if you had new ones only a year age, that would be surprising (did you replace both?)

Can blank the EGRs and that will save you Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

thanks for replies

Hi guys, thanks for your replies. Sorry its taken a while to say thanks, work gets in the way Laughing
Its with a chap up the road from me as LR dealer is too far to drive to safely (rural Devon and all...) and our local dealership is sadly not that renowned for being very good..... but in fairness to him he does a lot of 4x4 as that's what a lot of farmers have to drive! so I'm guessing his (reading) equipment is ok.
Looked at live values as I suspected fuel starvation, but he says its smoking a bit so he's going with EGR valves too. Both were replaced before but looks like I'm doing them again.
Do bills EVER stop for these cars? I've spent most of my finance having a car sat at someone elses waiting to be fixed...its totally history if I ever get it back on the road again Censored
Where's the best place to sell these do you all think?
cheers

See if Bodsy will come down and sort your car out. A 2007 RRS can be de-egr'd and software patch added to eliminate the warning light, you don't need egrs replacing. You need someone who is familiar with these complex machines.

Stop messing around with non LR specialist mechanics and get Bodsy or Woody32 to sort it Thumbs Up
Don't let your man change the EGRs. As above they can be eliminated. Visitor from fullfatrr.com

We're back in the game (touch a HUGE amount of wood)

So all, we're back in the game, tho with the grief that this bloody thing has given me over the past year I am touching a lot of wood when I say that.
For future reference, any one fancying a trip to North Devon to look at it I am happy to pay your travel costs!
However, for now, its cost me £80 - EGR valve was faulty, rod still moving hence no codes, but firmly wedged in the "doing f all mode" Now blanked them and we're away again....for now Thumbs Up
Question is now...do I keep it...?? I just don't know...

If they've been blanked and the EML light is off then you're sorted and can enjoy the car again Thumbs Up
Who blanked them? Did they use a decent kit? Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Yes I will need a software patch. Do you travel then Bodsy? I want to blank the other egr & sort the software, but would help to have a true expert look over it!
It's running fine, EML light is on but assume that's ok to still use it? Going back & forth to work at the mo but will be needing to tow my horses soon too!
Cheers
