...and mentions it still sounds like a diesel from the outside, which I thought was meant to be less so on the TDV8?

2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

I test drove the TDV8 sport last week
(ordered one off the back of the drive)
some diesel noise (less than the TDV6) but the V8 sounded great both in the cabin and outside, makes my TDV6 sound like a van. Something else is always something better:

2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

I thought all the 2007's had the electric latch on the hatch? VA, don't tell me you read The Sunday Express for Gawd's sake .... Nat Barnes, their "Motoring Editor" and author of that article shows exactly the same level of knowledge, accuracy, value, originality and rank banality that the rest of that paper achieves week in week out. I suggest they should stick to road testing Nissan Sunny's.
