Car alarm keeps going off

As the title says and it's really annoying. All times of day and night; however, last night it went off and finally indicated that the bonnet was open! With opening and forcefully closing the bonnet, I'm hoping that this issue has been solved.

Anyone else had a similar problem?

As above, try a new bonnet catch sensor. Search on Disco3 site will come up with some helpful stuff Thumbs Up Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Cheers for the link. The car did unlock/lock normally on previous occasions but last night it just made a double peep noise and didn't lock again. It hadn't shown the bonnet unlocked warning previously either!

There have been several times where the right hand bonnet catch came undone when driving so it might be something to do with that too.

Yes normally is the bonnet sensor tah cause the problem, you can

-Try to clean it and adjust it, might work.
- replace it, I think it doesn't cost much.
- remove it and bridge the wires. '08 RRS TDV8
