CV,

JE do NOT claim any performance benefits for their TDV6 exhaust system. It is primarily for cosmetic and aural benefits.
You either don't have a TDV6 with a JE exhaust or have very little or no experience of V8's.
The JE exhaust gives a very V8 like burble from the rear and I've had more V8's than I can remember from 3.5 to 7.0 litres and pretty much everything in between.

Paul,
O RLY? Well, you would know, of course, I merely write the JE website

"New Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Discovery 3
JE's unique quality stainless steel large bore exhaust systems enhance engine responsiveness in addition to having superb sound and appearance."

I suppose my being an accepted authority on a certain V8 engined marque, author of the marque "bible" and winner of countless marque sportscar races, including the British Championship might just enhance my right to comment.

Best wishes Smile

Maybe if you were less antagonistic with your comments then people may take you more seriously.
I stand by my comments regarding the exhaust and I doubt that Jonathan would claim any substantive performance improvements for it either.
As you claim to know V8's then the former must therefore be true, that being , you don't have a TDV6 with a JE exhaust.
Just because you write the website, doesn't in itself make you an authority on the subject matter.

Paul

Oooh, name dropping again, Paul Laughing I never take myself seriously, these days, as I have nothing to prove. I'll treat you to a Kit-Kat out of the Works sweetie box next time you are in, just to show there are no hard feelings! Smile
