3 litre? I think it's still 7 years / 105k miles whichever is sooner. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I'm in a similar position in that I'm looking for a nice face-lift RRS.
The belts are 7yrs/112k miles. The rear, HPFP, belt is timed which seems to have increased the cost of the service, possibly because some independent garages don't want to do it.
I don't know what may happen to the 3ltr engine if the rear belt does snap, apparently the 2.7 would just stop with no lasting damage.
Quite a few of the '09, and all of the '10 platers I've been interested in haven't had the belts done and the dealers selling aren't really interested in doing them or discounting accordingly. The search continues.

Hi,
yes 7 years or 112k miles which ever comes first,

Disco_Mikey has just posted his costs £700 for the belts

If the car has not had the service done yet I would budget £1000 to cover belts/good service/few odds and ends.
and
If it has not had that service done yet what else have they decided to hold off doing Question its easy to spend £2k Shocked
but its only money and you should have a car sorted for a while

Thumbs Up

I would expect a 59 plate to have had the belts done. If not, they're lying by calling it a full service history. Simple. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

If he's a trader he has to fix issues in the immediate period after the sale. If he doesn't want to provide a warranty then he's either brave, stupid or dodgy. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
